Our Chapter's premiere educational and mid-season inspirational event, we will welcome Mark Patterson as our feature clinician this year. Repertoire sessions, sessions for Children's Choirs, Youth Choirs and Adult Choirs; Organ sessions.

Basic Service Playing/Improvisation Classes with Sandor Kadar (Spring) 

The participation fee is $50 for the semester (five sessions). The number of active participants will be limited to 12. The number of auditors is unlimited.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ardmore. Session are 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The dates are:

Advanced Improvisation Classes with Jeffrey Brillhart (Spring) 

Advanced improvisation sessions will focus on developing the improviser's harmonic language and solid structural framework for "spontaneous composition." The participation fee is $50 for the semester (four sessions), payable to the Philadelphia Chapter. The number of active participants will be limited to 12. The number of auditors is unlimited.

Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, Bryn Mawr, PA. Session are 9:00am to 12:00pm. The dates are:

Young Artists' Concert and Panel Discussion, Old Christ Church, Philadelphia
We welcome Amanda Mole and Joshua Stafford, Organists, along with James Thomashower from the national office. Amanda and Josh will play 30-minutes programs, then join in a lively panel discussion with James about young organists and where education and performing are headed in the USA. We look forward to hearing the new Fisk organ at Christ Church.

Pipe Organ Encounter

July 8 - 13, 2018 • Girard College, Philadelphia

Pipe Organ Encounters are designed for teenagers, ages 13-18, who have achieved an intermediate level of keyboard proficiency. Previous organ study is not required. Special consideration with regards to age and training may be allowed by the POE Committee on an individual basis.
